About this service
We provide a safe, homelike environment where Club 36 participants have the opportunity to voluntarily participate in a variety of activities designed to encourage autonomy, self-esteem, dignity and respect. It also provides caregivers with opportunities for respite from the responsibilities of caring for someone with Alzheimers disease or another type of dementia.
Caregivers welcome a break from their caregiving responsibilities, enabling them to spend time with friends and family or simply relax. There is often a sense of comfort knowing that the person with dementia is safe while they are away, and they are free to tend to other tasks and care for themselves.
Anyone wishing to participate must register with AHS Home Care and be over the age of 18 to qualify for the Adult Day Program. For a Home Care assessment, please contact your physician or contact:
