About this organization
The North Centre operates an Alberta Education funded and approved ECS/Kindergarten program within the centre. We recognize that all children are individuals and have unique learning needs, therefore we offer an integrated program with access to Program Unit (PUF) and Mild/Moderate delays funding for those children who qualify.
Our programs are designed to help children grow physically, intellectually, socially and emotionally through spontaneous involvement with their environment. Our long-term, experienced Early Childhood Educators plan a program that is based on childrens needs, interests and abilities. Using Flight: An Early Learning and Child Care Curriculum Framework for Alberta, as our guide, the Educators use observation and reflection to understand where the children are in development and seek to nurture that learning further.
