About this organization
Jacket Racket has been providing clean, gently used winter jackets to Calgary children since the 1980's. The project runs every year from mid-October to mid-November. Coats, snow pants, hats and mittens are collected, sorted and distributed by a group of dedicated volunteers. The distribution is done through the Calgary Board of Education and the Calgary Catholic School District.
