About this organization
GBC Childcare Centre is a caring Christian program that exists to provide safe, reliable, quality childcare where we meet the needs of each family. Children will develop their physical, mental, spiritual, and social/emotional need and abilities while they learn through exploration and play.
CASP has access to multiple classrooms, a gymnasium and outdoor parks within walking distance. CASP provides a wide variety of activities for the children to participate in such as literacy activities, a variety of clubs, physical activities, weekly special events and lessons/activities on social/emotional learning developed by PATHS (Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies). PATHS is a social and emotional learning curriculum that CASP has introduced into its programming to help children develop their social/emotional skills, to learn how to problem solve and to understand why and what they are feeling.
