Earth Stop One Foundation has strict policies that govern the care of the birds.The Foundation strictly abides by them and guarantees that the birds have never been or will ever be used for animal testing, sold, traded or used for breeding purposes. The Foundation does not re-home birds for any reason. They have a life time home. Earth Stop One Foundation has a no kill policy. No bird is euthanized unless it is a medical issue that can not be resolved and is recommended by a certified avian vet. All birds are vet checked on a regular basis by a certified avian vet.
The need for a bird sanctuary in Alberta was so overwhelming it necessitated the decision to find land and formally establish Earth Stop One Foundation. The land, near Drayton Valley is 110 kilometres southwest of Alberta's capital city, Edmonton. With the creek, trees and meadows, it is an ideal location for the Sanctuary.
