About this organization
The naming of the Lodgepole Center was provided by the AUArts Elder Council to reflect the supportive nature of a Lodgepole.
Traditionally, the Lodgepole is placed at the centre of the tipi to carry the weight of the covering.
This gathering place facilitates Elder advising, supports traditional ceremonies, workshops, sharing circles and more.
All members of AUArts are welcome to attend events as the Lodgepole Center is a dedicated and all-inclusive space.
