About this service
Expanding the role of the Dr. Margaret Savage Crisis Centre in the community has always been an important part of our mission. We believe in educating the public and creating partnerships to prevent family violence, thus creating stronger communities. That is one of the many reasons we recently started new teen programming.
The Empowering Teens group encourages the development of social skills, self confidence, supportive peer relationships and healthy youth relationships. The program includes a variety of activities including art, drama, community involvement, and lessons on healthy relationships but most importantly the teens will be encouraged to have fun and learn in a safe and supportive environment.
When is it open?
Dr. Margaret Savage Crisis Centre - Empowering Teens is open Tuesdays 6:30 - 8:00 pm throughout the school year.
