Bonnyville Friendship Centre - Cultural Programming

We aim to bridge the gap between communities. Everyone is welcome to stop by to say hello and learn about the diverse cultures that make up Bonnyville.

Education Week/Educational Workshops

During Education week, we go to local schools to show presentations on Indigenous Culture. Our intent is to teach school-age children about Indigenous Culture to promote awareness, while cultivating shared understanding.

Elders Council

The Elders Council is in place to assist the Bonnyville Friendship Centre with ensuring culture is preserved and passed on to future generations. The Elders Education Program will help facilitate cultural preservation, allowing Elders to attend workshops in different communities with other Elders. This Program also facilitates cultural ceremonies, including Pipe Ceremonies throughout the year.
