About this service
Provides people of all ages and their families with communication, eating, feeding, and swallowing services, so they can participate in activities that are important to them. These services are specifically designed for individuals with developmental and/or medical conditions. The services cater to individuals who require assistance and may include: - Pronouncing speech sounds - Understanding and using spoken language - Utilizing gestures, pictures, communication boards, or speech devices for communication - Rehabilitating reading and writing skills after an illness or injury - Speaking smoothly and fluently (addressing stuttering) - Improving voice quality - Assisting with eating, feeding, and swallowing - Offering consultation, follow-up, and referral to other community services.
