Community Respiratory Therapy Outpatient services includes an array of respiratory diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Due to COVID-19, service times may vary. Call to confirm. Services include: home oxygen assessments arterial blood gases (ABGs) respiratory education (Asthma & COPD) spirometry tobacco cessation artificial airway management trach change sputum induction
Who can use it?
Physician Order Required for all but education, Tobacco Cessation. Can be a physician order, or a respiratory Requisition form. Submitted via fax Service Access Healthcare providers should consult the Alberta Referral Directory for service referral information. Doctor's referral required except for educational programs.
