Blue Heron offers overnight, in-home supports for 19 residential programs in the PDD Northcentral and Northwest regions of the province. These programs have staff available 24 hours a day to empower each individual to live as independently as possible. Each individual receives the supports tailored to their unique needs. BHSSA provides exceptional support in all areas of 24-hour residential programming, base support, addiction recovery, harm reduction, complex needs and high medical needs. Staff in each program help develop skills, foster independence and promote inclusion in all aspects of home and community life. Each individual receiving service with BHSSA goes through an individualized goal planning process where he or she can identify specific areas in which they would like to set goals and see personal growth. Blue Heron works in collaboration with each individual, guardians, family members and the community to help achieve those goals.
