About this service
The program provides seniors with safe and quality transportation to medical appointments in Airdrie and Calgary. Volunteers are carefully screened through our Volunteer Services to determine dependability, integrity, reliability and safety. The Senior Transportation Program is meant to be a last resort for those seniors who do not have other transportation options (i.e. friends, family, neighbors, etc). We request a minimum of 1 weeks notice for Calgary appointments and 3 days for Airdrie appointments. Seniors wishing to access the Senior Transportation Program are asked to contact Intake Services at Community Links.
