About this service
Our youth groups are a safe and affirming social and support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, queer, questioning, intersex, 2-spirit, pansexual, asexual (2SLGBTQ+) and allied youth. They are primarily a social group with games, arts and crafts, and fun activities. We promote the health and wellbeing, and empowerment of 2SLGBTQ+ youth.
We believe in the strengths and assets of 2SLGBTQ+ young people and encourage youth to gain leadership skills and contribute to both the 2SLGBTQ+ community and the larger Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent communities.
If you are nervous or scared to come to any of the groups and would like a tour of the facilities or to meet with the facilitators prior please contact Steff Armstrong at sarmstrong@aidswindsor.org or 519-973-0222 ext. 117.
