Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare - Withdrawal Management Services

A 20 bed residential, non-medical, alcohol and drug withdrawal co-facility for men and women 16 years of age and older. Our care encompasses and supports your physical, financial, residential, spiritual, emotional, social, and educational needs to motivate and address positive lifestyle changes which support the recovery process.

Through daily support from Certified Chemical Dependency Counsellors and a Clinical Social Worker/Addiction System Navigator, you will be offered short screening assessments, brief supportive motivational counselling, case management, and positive client-centered discharge planning that supports holistic, positive life changes.

You will typically remain in the facility for 4-5 days. You are not allowed to leave and return to the facility during your stay, unless approved by management.

To create an environment that focuses on recovery, while avoiding triggers and distractions, visitors will not be allowed to see clients while in the Centre.
