About this service

The Region and its municipal and community partners are working together to ensure that vulnerable populations and others affected by COVID-19 get the supports they need.

The Community Support Control Group is made up of representatives from the Region of Waterloo, area municipalities, and community partners. This group is taking action to support the health and safety of vulnerable people and other community members impact by COVID-19.

  • Support to cope with stress and anxiety
  • Food hampers and meals
  • Emergency foster care
  • Emergency child care
  • For people experiencing homelessness:
