About this service
Volunteer Mentors spend time with the young people in our program engaging in various social mentoring activities such as arts and crafts, board games, cooking, hiking and exploring, movies, campfires, music and group games. Through our Kid's club and Teen group, Mentors get to know the Mentees and have opportunities to provide positive influence on their lives, offer advice, encouragement and social support. Through programs, it is possible to match individually with a child and spend time with them 1 on 1 in the community as their advocate, confidant and friend, helping them navigate the struggles of growing up, school and friends.
Who can use it?
Applicants 18+, have good rapport with young people, be a positive role model, clear police check.
