The Anglican Mission in Canada

The Anglican Mission in Canada has roots in the worldwide Anglican Communion through the Anglican Mission, and receives and accepts oversight and accountability through a College of Consultors. This College of Consultors serves as guardians and overseers, and are responsible for preserving the vision and direction of the Anglican Mission as it expands across the globe.

The Four-Year Cycle of Movement This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grainfirst the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come. Mark 4:26-29 YEAR ONE: THE STALK RAISING DISCIPLERS Connecting people to God and each other to create a relational climate for raising up disciples of Jesus. YEAR TWO: THE HEAD RAISING EVANGELISTS Creating a culture where disciples become missional in both lifestyle and practice. YEAR THREE: THE FULL KERNEL RAISING MENTORS Providing mentoring and coaching for leaders to equip and empower them for missional movement and greater impact in God's Kingdom. YEAR FOUR: THE HARVEST RAISING PLANTERS Empowering planters of churches and other missional expressions, through congregations who are committed to reaching the 30 million+ people in Canada who do not yet know or follow Jesus.
