About this service
Kindergarten to Grade 5 Richard Bulpitt Elementary opened in September of 2013. The school is named for Mr Richard Bulpitt who served as Superintendent of Schools in Langley from May 1996 to March 2001, when he retired. Before that he was a teacher, principal and administrator in both Vancouver and Langley. RIchard Bulpitt was admired by students, colleagues, and friends for his love of education and dedication to the community, said Board Chair Wendy Johnson, when the naming decision was announced by the Board of Education in December of 2012.
