About this service
This program is designed to assist youth to develop basic social skills for everyday situations. Facing new social situations may feel difficult, embarrassing, or uncomfortable without some basic social tools. Youth may feel frustrated or lonely simply because they dont have the social skills to start a conversation or friendship. These skills are developed in this program through fun and creative social role playing and discussions. Basic skills are covered, such as reading and understanding body language, forming and maintaining friendships, making introductions, keeping eye contact, integrating into groups, and using different communication methods.
This program is also offered as a 6 week course.
